Motorbikes
Our partner GiFO, needs independent income so that it can sponsor more projects.
Many people in Nyamasheke do not have the savings o set themselves up in business.
These two things have come together in the “motorbike project”. Village Rwanda UK has provided funds to GiFO to buy two motorbikes. GiFO will rent these out to local people who use them to offer a taxi service. “Getting a moto” is a very typical Rwandan experience..
The moto driver gets and income from the passengers, and GiFo gets an income from the rental. Everyone’s a winner!
